None of that makes sense! You know how valuable he is, the marlins signed him! Enough said!!!

The slideshow seemed to ignore the fact that Dobbs had down years in both 09 and 10. Granted, I think he was hurt quite a bit in 09. It also makes him sound like he was a Gold Glove fielder, which he was not. Yes, he could play multiple positions, but had moments where he was a defensive liability; he had 6 errors last year, all at 3rd base and his fielding percentage was only 0.898. And I was a big fan of his! The year he had in 2008, primarily as a pinch-hitter--I thought we had another Del Unser in the making! :)

I do agree that he could come back to haunt the Phils, as quite a few former players have done. Will be interesting to see what happens. In any case, I wish him well except when he's playing against us! :)
