        Thank you Fred for such a great birthday party for Marci on the 4th of July.  And the open mic jam on July 5 was not advertised properly but those who figured it out had a fine time.  I'm thinking it went out to the "googlegroup" but not the "open mic" list.  Thanks to Ken the harp player who knew to call and to new players Derek who plays bass or drums and Ike who is a drummer, and guitar player Bob who knows when to come in and when to chill.  We did some tunes I haven't attempted in over a year like "Crossroads" (Bob did the leads) and "One Way Out".  "Scare Easy" was in there and "The Breeze".  Eddie was in on "Folsom Prison Blues", "Why does Love Got to Be so Sad?" and a few originals.  Still a fun afternoon!  Next open mic is slated for August 2.
