        Hey, it's the Pulse DK duo coming to Smith Bros. Saloon this Saturday, May 9 from 8:30 till about 12:30.  We'll be playing your favorite classic rock tunes and requests.  It's a sharp Ridgewood eatery specializing in chops and steaks with great live music.  HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!

 

         Our open mic on May 3 was a nice jam.  I started out with a few like "Fire and Rain" and allowed Ken up on harp for "Heart of Gold".  Tom F. and I started on "Amie" with Rich P. almost ready when Joey jumps in on bass and presto, we have a band.  After a few more we had a set with harpguy Ken... "Feelin' Alright" stands out.  After a break I played a couple of acoustic numbers with Dave Con on harp and then a few more with the band including Mark P. on drums.  The pro jam was next featuring Rich on drums and Tom F> and Roy on (almost) twin guitars.  Then Eddie M. came up and we made a band for him with me on bass and Bill B. on harmonica.  Lotta harp stuff going on today.  All in all... very nice!
