Just a quick note
about last Sunday's Jam at Jiggs McAllister's. Very nice
and very nice weather also. I worked out some solo tunes until Jefferson
was ready. Oh, thanks for the bottom snare head, we found the old one
ripped. He played band style this time, doing "When you Dream", and
"Curtains". I hadn't heard the last tune called "Rollin'", it was a nice
set with Mike on drums and Steve on bass. Toni B. came up next to play
original songs on a new 12-string guitar. Toni switched over to bass and
with Rich P. on drums we did a blues set featuring Ken on harp. All Along
the Watchtower" started us off with "The Breeze" rolling in and "Heart of
Gold". Thanks. By this time Ron and a new guy Dave had dropped
in. Ron played some bass for Tom and Rich ona curious set that had "Bring
it on Home to Me" interwoven with "Hot 'Lanta" and "Whippin' Post" by the Allman
Bros.. Our last set featured Dave N. on drums with Ron and I running thru
"Feel a Whole Lot Better", "Just Like Heaven", and "Cowgirl in the Sand".
Nice jam.
the end of August will have
a Harvest date and September will feature a new place called
the Old 76 House that I hope will interest everyone! Both
dates are the trio Electric Pulse. Till then...
... coming up ... Lakeshore Inn
