Phill Space presents:
Electric Pulse shows this week:
Sat. June 13 2:00 private party
This Saturday is a private party for a high school graduation... who said we were too old? Congratulations!
This gives me a chance to thank those who came out on such short notice to Harvest Bistro. Ron's Mom was there with her sister Aunt Kathy from Carolina (I forget which one). Dad showed up a bit later. Steve and Lee were there as were Sandra and Joe. The next Thursday had Dave Solo at the Sunset Pub and Grill. Nice to be back and I got to see longtime friends Fred and Marci come out just to see me back in action. Later on I saw Laura with Claudia and Christine come in and got to talk to them. Also made a couple more friends... we shall see. Sunday's open mic at Jiggs McAllister's was pretty nice with a full inventory of players. Nice to see Jeff and family. Jeff played an original set with Steve on bass and Mike on semi-drums. Tom F. and Rich P. were on board for "Black Magic Woman" and "Oye Como Va". Lucid Groove had a real nice jammin' set of old school rock like it should be played. Mike and Steve came back for Ken's set on blues harp, including "The Breeze" and "All along the Watchtower". Pam was kind enough to come up and play bass for Roy and Tommy's set with "This Ol' Cowboy" featured. And that kinda morphed into Eddie Milko's set with originals and Pam coming up front to sing "Badge" and "Strange Brew", she shoulda been singing that one too. All in all, a nice week and a half of live music!
