        Breaking news... there has been a change in our schedule.  We will NOT be at the '76 House this Friday as planned.  We have been moved to Saturday, December 19.  Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.  This is why we say call ahead to confirm shows... ya never know what could happen.  Sunday still remains a go at Sunset Pub & Grill as long as the weather is nice... and it has been for all the summer so far.  Look for Dave Solo there.

        So here's a chance to mention a bit about Sunday's open mic jam at Jiggs McAllister's.  It actually turned out to be more interesting than originally planned.  We missed Rich, who was on vacation, but had a surprise visit from Laurie M. who has been scarce for several years.  Mike played drums early on and it was great to have Jeff back again.  Also Hi to Tony who returned this time.  Ken played blues harp and another surprise by seeing Sam M. and Kristie stop in where Sam could play some bass with the guys.  It was a nice set by Roy M. and Tommy F. on guitars, and Sam on bass.  We ended the night a bit late as a trio with Eddie M. on gtr, Todd B. on bass, and yours truly on drums... heaven help us all!  Next open mic will be Sunday, October 4.
