when kgs is down you play on other servers. and i played on Wbaduk.

i've been using wbaduk before for watching live broadcasts of pro
games only.

i like its built-in resources like the problems and lectures that are
accessible directly from the client.

i also like its integration with its web site http://www.wbaduk.com
where you can find news (in english!), forum, pro game records, tests,
etc. you should check out the tests. a player on kgs raved about the
tests.

it sucks, though, that the site is fully compatible with IE browser
only.

the login bug still exists, but you can work around it by first
clicking the Servers button and selecting a server (linalangaw ang
Wbaduk 1, choose Korea 1 or others). THEN type in your username and
password.

It also sucks that their installer is only for Windows.

But I'm glad that wbaduk was finally updated (some time in the last 2
weeks). They said before that they'd be ready early Nov 2009.
