Wounded whale found in Iloilo

MANILA, Philippines - A wounded whale was found at the shores of
Tigbauan, Iloilo this weekend.

The whale, about 3 meters long, was reportedly weakened by a wound on
its back.

Residents could not tell if the wound was caused by stabbing or
shooting.

They already tried pulling the whale back to the sea but it kept on
swimming back to the shore.

Fishermen in the area are hoping that the whale will bring them good
luck.

They said fishes have been scarce during the past week. – Report from
