Grad school in the Philippines

Hello Everyone!

I'm interested in attending grad school in the Philippines. I've
narrowed my choice to either UP Diliman's PhD program in environmental
science, or the MS marine science program. My goal is to save the
coral reefs in the Philippines. Anybody have any input about these
particular programs? I'm a Filipino-American with a BS in
Environmental Science and Resource Management from Cal. State Channel
Islands.

Please let me know. Thanks! =)

I suggest the Bolinao Marine Biology program, Siliman University in
Dumaguete, schools in Iloilo and Palawan are possibilities.

It's better to have first hand encounter in the coral reef
environment.

Others in the newsgroup could suggest other colleges/universities.

FYI: Front page of Phil Inquirer yesterday was the concern of local scientist about the bleaching of corals in the Philippine seas. So experts in this field are sorely needed.
