There’s been considerable press about microgrids, localized energy systems capable of operating independently, but slow implementation of these systems. How do they affect our environment and what is their status?

Cameron Brooks is Executive Director of Think Microgrid, a nonprofit membership coalition that represents the microgrid industry in critical policy, legislative and regulatory discussions. He also has served in executive roles with clean energy companies and nonprofits. He will explain the various types of microgrids, their advantages and the challenges related to their deployment.
