In what ways can it sustain us and how can we sustain its vital functions? Andrea Copping is a Distinguished faculty fellow the School of Marine and Environmental Affairs at the University of Washington in Seattle.  She studies how the ocean generates energy and the effects of harnessing that energy. She will tell us how we could use renewable ocean energy on land and to reduce the use of greenhouse gases.
