What are various recent data sets telling us about how easy it is to be sustainable and what changes to make? These reports may be useful to the participants in the upcoming COP in Brazil as well as to all of us.

Richard Damania is the Chief Economist of the Sustainable Development Practice Group of the World Bank. He will talk about their new report, “Reboot Development: The Economics of a Living Planet”, based on their research. The report describes how worldwide economic growth and jobs can benefit from sustainable practices, rather than suffer from them.

Flora Cardoni is Deputy Director of PennEnvironment, a nonprofit which works to improve the Pennsylvania environment and natural world. She will discuss a new study from their organization about the economic and other effects of putting solar installations on or around schools.
