Dear Community of Justice-seekers and Torah-lovers,

Please save the date and register to sing, learn, and teach!! 

 

At 6:30-8:30PM ET (3:30-5:30PM PT) on October 12^th, 2025, we will be celebrating the publication of two books I have written between turning 90 and turning 92. One of the books is a memoir of more than 70 years as an activist for justice and a lover of Torah. The book’s title is “Tales of the Spirit Rising… And Sometimes Falling: An Activist Memoir.” The other book is  “Handbook for Heretics and Prophets: A New Torah for a New World.” 

 

There will be several people who have written for and helped to edit both books. 

Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie, Rabbi Shefa Gold, Rabbi Phyllis Berman, Rabbi/Kohenet Jill Hammer, Rabbi Elyse Wechterman, and Student Rabbi Hadasah Yaqob-Johnson (my scribe, commentator, and co-editor). will join me to talk about the need, the process, and the hope for both books.
