Join UCLA Professor Saree Makdisi for a discussion that will explore the contours of the one-state solution as well as attempt to place the struggle for justice in Palestine in the context of the struggle for democracy in the wider Middle East.

Question and answer session moderated by Professor Amy Kaplan.

Makdisi is author of Palestine Inside Out: An Everyday Occupation (WW Norton, 2008; revised and updated, with a new foreword by Alice Walker, 2010).
