First question: What is Mill's notion of human good? Now that we
have read some important publications of Mill (other than
Utilitarianism), are we in a position to conclusively settle the
question, whether Mill is proposing the objective good theory or
hybrid good theory? In a similar spirit, how does Mill incorporate
both the doctrine of higher pleasure and the principle of utility into
a consistent notion of human good?

Second question: Mill's moral and political philosophy presents
several core values, i.e., equality, liberty and perfectionism. In
Mill's ideal society for working classes (the coop), Mill seems to
believe that these values would be realized in harmony. Is this
belief justified?

These are biggies. My own view (surprise, surprise) is that OL, CRG,
and SW confirm the importance of perfectionist elements in M. It's
pretty straightforward how HPs fit into perfectionism. And it's not
that utilitarianism is incorporated into perfection, but the other way
round. Curious to know how well you think he harmonizes equality,
liberty, and perfection ....
