Wow, hurting pretty bad on these emails. Day 44 was actually two days ago, and it was Plyometrics. Day 45, Back and Biceps should have been yesterday but I missed it, so I'm shifting the rest of this week by a day to catch up going in to recovery week numero two. At that point I'll skip straight from Day 48 to Day 50.

Day 45... half way!

Day 62 for me i think.  Had a monster day yesterday going for a triple up!  Legs/back, yoga and stretch x.  In fairness i really half-assed my way through the stretch x but whatever.

still behind a kenpo x but if i double up today i'll be caught up for the first time since the draft.

Here is an update for you from my non-p90x workouts.

Today finished the second session of boot camp. I won most improved this session. Out of the 11 weeks i have been attending (1 free trial week + 2 5 week sessions), i have only missed it once, and that was the friday we were in Buffalo.

When I started boot camp, I could barely run a mile without stopping to walk and it took me 9:59, today i ran it in 8:30. I have lost only a couple more lbs, but i am definitely more cut.

It is still kicking my ass every MWF, but there is only so much you can do without weights, or the proper equipment. I feel like i can do a ton of pushups, squats, squat thrusts, etc but i am definitely lacking in the pull up department as there is no where really to work on this where we are.

I have one more session of bootcamp before the wedding, two weeks off for the honeymoon, then my next goal is to run a 5K in under 30 mins by Thanksgiving.

Kick ass dude.

I haven't been running since I started P90X, but I have a 5k coming up in October so I'm interested to see how that goes. I should probably hit the road a few times before that so I don't have any surprises. Actually I potentially have one on September 30th as well, so I really do need to get a move on.

I'm undecided about how I want to handle P90X on the 5k day(s) because one of them is a Legs & Back and the other is a Kenpo, both of which I think would kind of be replaced by running. The 5k is less time though, so I might feel like I'm cheating if I skip the P90X routines entirely.

pretty badass bill.  i'm on the same boat in terms of lbs.  i lost a little over 10 pounds now since starting, but i am more happy with losing over 6% body fat

Good work gentlemen. I've given up on losing lbs since my scale has read the same thing since March despite running much longer and faster now than I was then and eating the same. I've come to the conclusion that my scale must be running the same OS as Chip's windows phone and that's why it hurts bad. What I look for as motivation is how my clothes fit and also pictures from a couple months back where it's easier to see weight loss than staring in a mirror.

I've also converted weight loss # goals into fitness goals like achieving certain milestones running and lifting, not losing 10lbs by date X. I just assume if you go hard at your workouts, the weight will come off as a side-effect.

Agreed. I don't think the point of P90X is weight loss anyway. It can be a nice side effect for people who could lose a few pounds, but the main focus is getting super (duper) cut.
