So I'm going to be firing up p90x on Jan 2nd. No major drinking holidays, no weddings, no drafts, no excuses for the 90 days following that. Who's coming with me?

Absolutely. I pretty much ate and drank constantly over the holidays and never did start my last week of P90X Lite. Need to start kicking my own ass again, which should at least be an easy target since it has ballooned to three or four times its normal size over the past month.

My only small hold-up is the Yoga. I'm considering doing kenpo in place of yoga each time that comes up. Thoughts ?

I really enjoy the yoga.  Feel like it's good for golf too

Modify to your specific needs, for sure. Do a push up if you want to, I'm going to do one.

To each his own, but I'd rather cut out the Kenpo actually. Also when I'm home and not working out, I will be using terrible form to repeatedly lift a little 30-pound ankle biter so some weekly yoga will be good for my back. Wow, I'm old.

Oh yeah... LJ is a good 32-33 pounds and probably 37-38" tall

Oh, so to sidetrack this into dad-talk for a sec... Charlotte had her 9 month visit, and they were like, you can feed her basically ANYTHING now. Mac and Cheese, Waffles with butter, cream cheese, tons of shit. How do they go from "feed her 1 new food every few days to watch for allergies, pureed cooked veggies and fruits, maybe chicken" to bringing her out to arby's for a bunch of roast beef doubles?

Emmy is almost 3, so she's actually still a little light for her age (30 pounds fully dressed). She was off the bottom of the weight charts for a long time but has gotten up to like 30th-40th percentile.

Also out on P90 but I'm pumped to finally start running again and pain free for the first time in awhile. I'm only able to do a few miles after being dormant for so long but it's coming back day by day.

I can't wait to see what golf feels like —if I don't break 100 first time out I'm giving that surgeon 1 star on Yelp!
