Ive searched far and wide. Those searches led me to a few links for the firmware but those links are no longer active. If you can provide me with an active link where I can download firmware version 1.1.6 I would be most grateful.

At OM SYSTEM, we're committed to keeping the technology in your camera on the cutting edge. We offer regular, robust firmware updates to protect your investment. After all, we know you're always shooting for perfection. We are too.

February 21st 2024 Since the announcement of the OM SYSTEM OM-1 Mark II interchangeable lens camera on January 30, there have been many inquiries regarding the possibility of a firmware update to the OM SYSTEM OM-1 (released March 2022). As a result, we would like to advise of our plan for a future firmware update for OM-1:

RAW video output to external equipment is now supported, enabling advanced post-production tasks for video production pros. RAW video data can be output in 12 bit 4K 30P, 25P, and 24P/Cinema 4K 24P. It is recorded in Apple ProRes RAW format on the supported external output device. See video captured with our newest firmware update.

*Requires update to Olympus Workspace v1.1. Requires USB connection. Limited to RAW data editing that can be handled internally in the camera. When moving to USB RAW data editing, editing content set thus far in the edit window is not carried over. The file saving format is JPEG only. USB RAW data editing cannot be performed simultaneously while connecting two cameras at the same time.

The new AF algorithm from the OM-D E-M1X is included on the OM-D E-M1 Mark II. High-precision AF tracking performance has been created together with professional photographers. Active use of On-chip Phase Detection information improves AF performance when shooting video.

C-AF Center Priority can be turned on/off for AF Target modes other than Single, Small, and 121-point. (Default setting is on) Provides assistance in peripheral areas when AF cannot focus on the central area. Effective for subjects that move vigorously. Furthermore, Group 25-point is supported now.

TruePic VIII image processor can be used for powerful, high-speed RAW processing. Requires update to Olympus Workspace v1.1. Compatible models are the OM-D E-M1X and OM-D E-M1 Mark II.

Images captured with the PEN-F's Monochrome or Color Profile Control can be loaded into the Olympus Digital Camera Updater* so the profile control settings can be saved to your PEN-F body as a custom setting. Sharing your PEN-F's profile control settings has never been easier!

The popular Shading Effect previously only available in Monochrome Profile Control is now available in Color Profile Control in your PEN-F body, giving you the ability to create both black and white vignetting.

As I mentioned earlier you don't have to worry about the Yellow exclamation mark as long your computer is working fine and all drivers are updated.

If you insist you can perform a hard drive test just to ensure your storage drive is fine.

If you recently updated the BIOS on your device and the Firmware in Device Manager shows a yellow exclamation mark with a message indicating 'Firmware update was unsuccessful' or 'This device cannot start/cannot work properly', please follow the methods provided below to resolve the issue.

If your system has device encryption or standard BitLocker encryption enabled, it might interfere with the completion of the BIOS update. Learn more about the Introduction to Device Encryption and Standard BitLocker Encryption.

Please disable device encryption/standard BitLocker encryption. The system may prompt you to restart the device to complete the BIOS update, or you can restart it manually. Learn more about How to disable Device encryption & Standard BitLocker encryption.

The Label Selector and Ribbon Calculator tools help you find the correct labels and ribbons for your application needs. With the Label Selector tool you can specify a particular application or Panduit hardware part number to find the correct label part number for a variety of network applications such as cables, patch panels, outlets, punchdown blocks, and jack modules. Label recommendations are provided for Desktop Thermal Transfer printers, Laser or Inkjet printers, and the LS8E/LS8EQ Hand-Held printers.

The Ribbon Calculator tools allows you to enter the label part number and amount of labels needed either by roll or label, to find the correct ribbon part number and amount of ribbons needed for your application. Our new high speed industrial printers (TDP43HET, TDP46HET) are durable, easy to setup, and provide superior legibility. Use them to print small, fine characters, high-quality images, and bar codes. These printers reduce time required to switch between labels and print up to 12 inches per second.

VeriSafe Network Module offers a new way to leverage data from VeriSafe 2.0 Absence of Voltage Testers (AVTs) for smarter system monitoring. Take troubleshooting to the next level by automatically measuring voltage and monitoring AVT results, without the need to open equipment doors and covers.

First, I tried using the upgrade wizard using a 940-0127E cable and then a straight USB cable (yes, we removed NMC 2). I wasn't sure if we should use the USB or the console port (APC Telco support said the console port - RJ45). With USB and the 4.0 Upgrade wizard, all I got was something to the affect that there was no compatible upgrade available (the driver did install completely and properly). When I tried the 940-0127E on the console port, we only got a warning that no port could be found (I assume the wizard only looks for COM ports below a certain number?). Tried on 3 machines all with Windows 7 Ultimate. Also tried safe mode and with pretty much everything that I could disable, disabled..... No luck.

Next, I tried a different approach and used FTP to place the firmware file suggested in FA164737 onto the UPSFW directory on the NMC2. That worked fine, but I keep getting "incompatible with this UPS" warnings. The file suggested is SMT4UPS_07-1_Le_NOT750.enc. I tried a few others with the same results. I was just guessing.....
