High School Fleet 12 VOSTFR: The Final Battle
High School Fleet is a Japanese anime series that follows the adventures of a group of girls who enroll in the Yokosuka Girls' Marine High School to become Blue Mermaids, the guardians of the seas. In the 12th and final episode of the series, the girls face their biggest challenge yet: a rogue submarine that threatens to start a war.
The episode begins with a flashback to the day when Akeno Misaki, the captain of the Harekaze, decided to join the marine high school. She was inspired by her childhood friend Moeka China, who was already a Blue Mermaid. Akeno wanted to follow her footsteps and protect the peace of the oceans.
Back in the present, Akeno and her crew are on their way to rendezvous with Moeka and the other Blue Mermaids, who have been trying to stop the Musashi, a massive battleship that has been hijacked by a mysterious virus. The virus causes its victims to become hostile and paranoid, and has infected most of the students and teachers of the Musashi Academy.
The Harekaze arrives at the scene and joins forces with the other ships to surround the Musashi. However, they are soon attacked by a submarine that emerges from the depths. The submarine is revealed to be the I-201, a prototype stealth vessel that was also infected by the virus. The I-201 launches torpedoes at the Harekaze and the other ships, causing chaos and damage.
Akeno decides to take a risky move and orders her crew to fire a depth charge at the I-201. The depth charge hits its target and disables the submarine's propulsion system. Akeno then contacts the I-201's captain, Wilhelmina Braunschweig Ingenohl Friedeburg, who is also her friend and former exchange student. Akeno tries to convince Wilhelmina to surrender and stop fighting, but Wilhelmina refuses and says that she has a mission to complete.
Wilhelmina reveals that she plans to use the I-201's nuclear warhead to destroy the Musashi and prevent it from reaching its destination: Tokyo Bay. She believes that the Musashi is carrying a secret weapon that could trigger a global conflict. She says that she is willing to sacrifice herself and her crew for the sake of world peace.
Akeno is shocked by Wilhelmina's words and begs her to reconsider. She says that there must be another way to stop the Musashi without resorting to violence. She reminds Wilhelmina of their friendship and their shared dream of becoming Blue Mermaids. She says that they should work together to find a cure for the virus and save everyone on board.
Wilhelmina is moved by Akeno's plea and hesitates for a moment. However, she is interrupted by her second-in-command, who has also been infected by the virus. The second-in-command takes over the controls of the I-201 and activates the nuclear warhead. She says that she will not let anyone interfere with their mission and prepares to launch it at the Musashi.
Akeno realizes that she has no choice but to stop the I-201 by force. She orders her crew to fire another depth charge at the submarine. The depth charge explodes near the I-201 and causes it to lose power. The nuclear warhead is deactivated and falls into the sea.
Akeno then leads a boarding party to enter the I-201 and rescue Wilhelmina and her crew. She finds Wilhelmina unconscious in the bridge and carries her out. She also encounters some of Wilhelmina's crew members who have been locked up by their infected comrades. Akeno frees them and helps them escape.
Meanwhile, Moeka and the other Blue Mermaids manage to board the Musashi and confront its captain, Mashiro Munetani, who is also Akeno's older sister. Mashiro has been brainwashed by
