The Graduate program in Astrophysics, Cosmology and Gravitation, PPGCosmo, has a call open for PhD positions until September 25th. The positions start as early as in the second semester of 2020.

PPGCosmo is a new and special PhD program based at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), Brazil, and it is associated with nine other institutions worldwide. The research topics range from theoretical to observational aspects of Astrophysics, Cosmology and Gravitation, including participation in large collaborations such as Euclid, J-PAS, DES and LIGO-Virgo.

The students are from the beginning of their courses  associated with an advisor at Brazil and a co-advisor outside Brazil.

Required documents:

(a) Curriculum Vitae of the candidate.
(b) Copy of the undergraduate degree and academic record. 

(c) Copy of the master’s degree and academic record (in the case that the candidate has either started or finished a master’s degree).
