Hi,

I am getting ready to build a phduino. I have a couple questions
about parts.

JP8, do you have a part number/source for that
The ribbon connector going to the LCD, where did you get that?
R9 is listed as 40K2...thats a value of 40.2K right? or 40,200 ohm?
Buzzer SG1, do you have a recommended part?

I think that is all for now.

Hi,

When I mounted it, I bought the components directly from a street, here em São Paulo, that has a lot of electronic components shops. I tried not to attach the components to one seller. I could make a more clear list, but, by now, I am pretty busy. But, I will try to make the things easer.

You can see the technical specifications here. The JP8 is a 10-pins Right Angle Polarized IDC Headers. For the LCD, I used the regular IDC Socket Connector.
R9 is listed as 40K2...thats a value of 40.2K right?  or 40,200 ohm?
You are right. This is a short for 40.2k ohms. It is the same of 40,200 ohms. It is common in electronic notation.

Buzzer SG1, do you have a recommended part?
This is a single 5V buzzer. These are some places that you can buy it. There are more. Take care that is not a just simple piezo element. It is a piezo element with a electronic oscillator inside. Just power it with 5V (from a digital port, for example) and you will have a sound.

I think that is all for now.

Best.
