We are going ahead with the planned TEQIP III sponsored One Day Workshop on Basic Life Support - First Responder Training  coordinated by  the Office of Dean Students Welfare on August 15 2019.

This programme is organized by Aster MIMS and NITC Health Center 

Recent unexpected natural disasters hitting our state are reminding us once more to be proactive in our approach to emergencies

This course  is covered in 12 skill stations were hands on training is provided by experts for topics like 

• Sudden Cardiac Arrest (Basic Anatomy, Physiology)
• Adult CPR
• Paediatric CPR
• Automated External Defibrillator operation
• Adult & Paediatric chocking management
• C-Spine protection
• Log roll
• Haemorrhagic control in Trauma
• Splinting
• Helmet removal
• Mass Casualty triage - Disaster Management
