This is to bring to your kind notice that the NALSAR Lecture Series on Constitutionalism shall be hosting Dr Raghuram Rajan for a webinar on 'Constitutionalism and India's Economic Future' on 26th October, Tuesday, from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. IST. Dr Faizan Mustafa, Vice Chancellor, NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad has kindly consented to introduce the speaker.

As per his profile from the University of Chicago's website, Dr. Rajan is the Katherine Dusak Miller Distinguished Service Professor of Finance at the University of Chicago's Booth School. Prior to that, he was the 23rd Governor of the Reserve Bank of India from 2013 to 2016, as well as the Vice Chairman of the Board of the Bank for International Settlements from 2015 to 2016. Dr Rajan was also the Chief Economist and Director of Research at the International Monetary Fund from 2003 to 2006. 

Apart from his leading credentials as an economist, he has also emerged as a prominent public intellectual of our times.
