Greetings, everyone!
We hope another online semester has not managed to get the best of you. To the ones already on campus, we hope it has revived your lockdown-weary spirits and given you the much-needed exuberance.
At the outset, we want to apologize for being out of touch for so long. To make up for the lack of communication, we have exciting announcements to make.
We had received an overwhelming response to our previous mail regarding the name of the magazine. It took rounds of deliberations and voting to come to the final name. We are elated to announce that the winner of the name contest is Utkarsh Mani Tripathi from Batch of 2024. Our student magazine will be called ‘Fiddler on the Flag Road’, as suggested by Utkarsh. For those wondering why we have chosen this name for our magazine, we have a special post curated for you.
The magazine blog, fiddler on the flag road, is now live. The blog has been designed keeping in mind the diverse talents of the student body. The different categories may act as prompts to give you ideas, however there are no rules to dictate the nature of submissions. Fiddler also has a fun element for all the music lovers out there, we have a special weekly playlist for all of you. Hope you enjoy exploring the blog with some good music.
