AOA,

The material downloaded from NTS website on 24 June 2010 for NTS GAT Computer
Science test on the following is attached for preparation of the test. The
attached material was removed from the NTS web site during 1st week of July
2010, due to unknown reasons. The same has not been re-uploaded / restored on
NTS website. Hopefully the same will be re-uploaded in due course of time.

So far the test has not been announced on the link http://www.nts.org.pk/ .
Earlier it was announced on the NTS website during June 2010 along with the
syllabus which I have sent to all of you. Hopefully the same syllabus will be
re-uploaded again by the NTS. However, the general break down of all the GAT
subject tests is given on the site and schedule of all the announced GAT subject
tests is also given. The test is always held at Islamabadalong with other
cities. The GAT Computer Science test would be newly announced, so no book has
been recommended to date for the test. However, I have found a book which may
fulfill your some of the requirement may be 60-70%. It is titled as “Public
Service Commission MCQ’s Series- Computer Science” By Dr. Zafar Ahmad Chudhry
Published by Bhatti Sons Publisher and available at Saeed Book Bank, Jinnah
Supper, Islamabad. The test duration is 2 hours for 100 x MCQs. The fee is Rs
1000/. No bar on chances. The passing score is 60 %. I will suggest you to go
through the web site it include answer to all your queries. Be watchful to
grasp the good news of announcement of GAT Computer Science on the NTS web and
share with others. Fee is Rs 1000/-. Any one want more information and
preparation material he is welcome to meet me.

Thank you for the details of NTS test.

I did not found GRE withdrawal announcement on HEC Website yet.
I think NTS will not show the details of this test until the HEC's official announcement.
So things are not yet cleared but hope is increased now.

I request to Dr. Naveed Riaz to kindly discuss this matter with HEC Officials and inform us by e-mail.

You may be right. HEC may use delaying tactics but thay have to direct the NTS
to conduct the GAT Computer Subjcet Test alongwith other subjects, in the light
of their recent decision. I also request Dr Naveed Riaz to expedite the issue
with HEC officials, if possible.

Dear Students,
                  HEC seems like a bit confused themselves. They are not giving the proper and exact answer, but I am hopeful that the decision is final. Meanwhile the information I have is that they will try to make the NTS test on the same pattern as Internatinal GRE so do not stop your studies. I will share more news as soon as it is available.
