Dear Friends and Colleagues:
Due to the cancellation of classes issued by the government on 25 August 2023, we were forced to move the date of Prof. Alex Taek-Gwang Lee’s talk in UST. The talk will now be on 26 August 2023 (Saturday), from 10am to 12nn. The new venue will be at the Martyr’s Hall, Ecclesiastical Faculties, University of Santo Tomas, España, Manila.
Once again, this event is sponsored by Kritike: An Online Journal of Philosophy, Unitas: Journal of Advanced Research in Literature, Culture, and Society; with support from the UST Department of Philosophy, the UST Graduate School, and the Research Center for Culture, Arts, and Humanities.
Prof. Lee will be speaking on “Revisiting Postmodernism: French Theory and Cybernetics.”
This event is free and open to the public.
Prof. Lee’s talk in UST is part of a series of talks he will be delivering this month. He will be visiting the Ateneo de Manila University on 24 August and the University of the Philippines, Baguio, on 30 August. For more details on these events, kindly check the attached posters.
