Aloha!

I came across this recently, and have been blown away by the effort
already involved in this project. The syntax is very similar to
SuperCollider, but not in Python, so its clean, and beautiful. The
version 0.41 already has FFT/IFFT processing and a lot of amazing
modules!

Hope others find this helpful!

Thanks. Yes, that looks interesting quite interesting :-) Michael if you end up playing with it let us know how it goes.

The other one I played a bit with recently is Lua AV: http://lua-av.mat.ucsb.edu/blog/

I think Lua AV may have long term institutional support at UCSB which is a good sign. But there's still some major stuff missing from the docs. e.g. file manipulation. It's worth keeping in mind.

I noticed the activity on Pyo was high and there are 4 committers and there is activity on the mailing list: http://groups.google.com/group/pyo-discuss?pli=1
Both these things are encouraging as well :-)

Cheers,
Noah
