Are you using Windows 7? If so, you might need to do the Bin file trick. Go into your Aion game file, it's usually under Users/program files/Aion/ etc., and look for Aion.Bin. Change it to Aion.bin.old. If this doesn't work...........
That might be what is wrong. Check under bin 32. The actual bin file name is what you want to change to Aion.bin.old. Just checked mine. There should be an Aion.bin under each, bin 64 and bin 32. The one under bin 64 is usually the one you need to change. Let us know what you find out.
If you have no Aion.bin file you may need to run file repair. You'll see this in the first part of the launcher unless even that doesn't open. And if that is the case I can only recommend uninstalling then re-installing the game.
Dunno why they haven't gotten back to us here. Maybe it's for the best cause I've been really sick these past few days. Caught something that's going around. I fear it even may delay my move next month.
After that, when the first loading screen appear, sometimes it doesn't go any further, and if i look at the task manager it says that the process is no longer responding. Then, i need to end the process and try to relaunch.
Lastly, if i succeed to access to my character list, time to time, it's impossible to connect them to the game. I put my pin code, but the "OK" button is unclickable. The only solution is to close the client and relaunch it.
I forgot to specify it in my post, but i'm using a brand new ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR 17 G733ZW-KH116W with a Intel Core i9-12900H processor, 32 GB DDR5 of RAM, a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics chip with 8 GB dedicated GDDR6 memory and a 1 TB M.2 4.0 PCIe SSD. My drivers and Windows 11 are up to date.
another server but same problems. (i play on retail) I tried to change every thing on my setup.. from w11 to w10... changing ssd deactivated ipv6(that seems to be one of the problems) ... now i changed the settings in gameforge files now all the programms start in admin mode. In my mind it helped a little bit but not at all... sometimes i get this problems again. Support told me to delete 2 Folders " l10n and data "than start repair in gameforge launcher i tried this on my backup pc and it doenst fix it :c

I have tried everything, to solve it with the launcher itself and it did not work, delete the folder and re-download it and it did not work, I do not know what else to do, I hope your answer thank you very much
mm does not work, I try again and again and it does not work, I give it to update again and again and it comes out with the same problem, the park iu file is corrupted (in the image that I uploaded before it looks better)
I have tried but the same thing keeps coming out, I delete the entire folder over and over and I download it again and the same thing comes out, I check the laucher and it is updated all the time and when it finishes and the game is available for open it again the same thing happens there I upload the images for you to see, I will keep updating it or good I will find some solution to this

Unfortunately,the only way to solve the issue is to redownload the mentioned file. If this doesn't help, then some other software is blocking the file and corrupts it. The only thing we can now suggest, is to check the other software of the PC.
I know but I can't think what software it could be, antivirus just win defend and I have followed all the steps you suggested and it didn't work,
copy the game from my pc and pass it to my notebook and from there try to download the iu.park file but I get the same problem, I think the client got corrupted and that's why I'm back in the process of downloading the customer (the game actually)
It only remains to wait if this has happened to someone else (and knows how to fix it) or that the solution is to re-download the game in its entirety

I have finally been able to solve my problem, reinstall the game and it works for me, I think the client will have corrupted me with some virus or some program will damage it, so if you have this problem, uninstall the aion and reinstall it from scratch
Also add it to the list of exclusions of the antivirus that you have for more security that the problem does not recur

Hi! Im able to run Aion on my Macbook Pro Retina OS X 10.8.4. Btw I also downloaded the new launcher. But it wasnt able to install Aion. And my PC-aion was fully updated, though the launcher was not gameforge live...it was just gameforge. Original i think....
I copied the "gameforge" folder (21 gb) (user/blablabla/Program Files (x86)/Gameforge. Here there were two folders, Aion-Free-To-Play and NC launcher. Both are needed, as I found out the launcher stores downloads in the NC folder.) on my windows pc (going over to mac now.. lil sad hehe) onto my Macbook Pro. I pasted it inside some hidden folder where Crossover stores its program list... i ran the aion free to play launcher with the command to open aion.bin. It worked. Well first it didnt work. Crysystem.dll failed to load it said. Then i tried installing .net framework into its bottle. Didnt work. Then i installed DirectX9, and it worked.
I first installed the launcher as the bottle. Then i moved the files to that bottles file "Program Files", so that it would "find it there". By showing where aion.bin where, it probably found the rest it needed.

My problem: Error code "Cannot connect to authorization server", on a Mac running Crossover, which is running Aion (gameforge/europe version). What can I do to fix this problem, and be able to login to my account? To check that this was not a server issue, I tested this on my windows pc; I was able to login there just fine..
And I read on a Wine forum a user who got the same error, and that he was able to fix it by using the correct ip and port in some (long) command line. But im not using a long command line like that; im just using Crossover. :P
Background info:
Aion couldnt be automatically installed with Crossover, so I figured if I copied my aion files from my windows pc to my mac, that I could make Crossover run it. With a little help of the internet, I ran the aion launcher with a command. The command was "linked" to where the aion.bin file were. It launched. Got an error. Added ".net framework" to the bottle. Same error. Added "directx9" to the bottle, and the game launched.
Now when i typed in my login information, a message popped up saying "Cannot connect to authorization server". I had my windows pc on as well, and found that it was able to log me in just fine. I wondered if i needed a network driver inside the bottle, so I tried to install one, but got an error saying that program wasnt supported for this machine.
