I am 69 years of age now and I inherited the same written Shajra from my father. I believe it to be very authentic and congratulate you on your valuable research. However, I am looking for the information to verify my own family tree starting from Hazrat Aoun Qutab shah down to myself. Could you or anyone else help me in this endeavor. Will be very grateful. By the way when I had a look on your Shajra I found the we share our common ancestors upto Hazrat Hassan Dost Sundroj but down below the lines separate. My ascent to Hazrat Hassan is through his son Hazrat Bahawuddin (Bhanu).

I am Dr. Muhammad Amjad Malik. Our clan, as indicated in the Revenue Record as Qutb Shahi Awan, presently dweling in the village of Ausia, Union Council Dewal, Tehsil Murree, District Rawalpindi, since almost past Two (02) centuries, originally migrated from Mozah Tali of Tarbela. I shall be highly grateful for helping me trace out the lineage of the Awans at Tarbela to their ancestors to ascertain its validity of origin.

I am myself a Alid (the direct descendant of Hz. Ali ibn Abi Talib [ra]), my grandfather was the Nawab of Hyderabad Deccan, who later migrated to Pakistan, our family was very strict religious at that times.and strictly followed the Sunni Islam.
I am from village Bayian Ahmad Ali Khan where we are living from 500 years .. Our Fore Father was Hazrat Sajalaf urf Baba Hazrat Sajawwal Awan who was son of Hazrat Pio Shah of Chakwal and his re-burrial too place after about 600 hundred years in 1974 due to Turbela Lake.

گجرات قلعہ میں مقیم ملک بھرت کھوکھر جو کے قطب شاہی اعوان ہیں مائی زینب کھوکھر مہاراجہ کی بیٹی جو اسلام قبول کر کے آپ کے نکاح میں آئیں ان کا شجرہ نسب کہاں تک ہے آپ کے پاس ہمارا ایک گھر ہے ٹبہ گجراع ڈھکی قابلی دروازے گجرات شہر میں جو تقریباً 5 سو سال سے بھی زیادہ پرانا ہے جس میں ہماری قوم ملک بھرت کھوکھر لکھی ہے اور ہمارے اجداد نے ہمیں یہ ہی بتایا کہ ہم غازی عباس علمدار ابن امام علی علیہ السلام کی اولاد سے ہیں اور ہمارے دادا قطب شاہ جو بغداد سے آئے تھے ہمارے ننھیال آج بھی کھوکھر راجپوت اور راؤ بھٹی ہیں
یہاں بہت سے شیعہ حضرات جو کہ پہلے ہمارے ہی بڑے بزرگوں کے مرید تھے اب علوی سادات بن رہے ہیں اور اپنے آپ کو علوی کھوکھر کہلاتے ہیں اور خود کو امام محمد بن علی علیہ السلام کی اولاد بتاتے ہیں جبکہ وہ یہاں کے ہی نو مسلم ہیں جو ہمارے نام ملک کھوکھر کو استعمال کر کے علوی کھوکھر بن رہے ہیں جبکہ نا تو یہ قطب شاہی اعوان ہیں نا ہی کھوکھر راجپوت بلکہ عیلی حد خدا کے دعوے دار ہیں فقہ جعفریہ پر بھی نہیں ہماری برادری میں فقہ حنفی اور جعفریہ دونوں ہیں لیکن آپس میں رشتہ داری ہے لیکن یہ قوم پتا نہیں کہاں سے پھوٹ پڑی ہے
Infact we read an interesting event that the infamous naqvi syed mohammad shah moj darya bukhari al Naqvi had a wife from gilani family called fatima....they had such problem that it was decided in his time that none from the NAQVI family shall ever now marry a GILANI family person!!!!!! [reference: Tareekh e Chishtia..published in 1800s..i have its copy fortunately]
