If you're in the Valley in the next few days, one of my favorite people is in town, composer and master of abstract reed sounds Bhob Rainey! 

- FRI DEC 1, QUAD @ SCDT/Studio4 Northampton (4 four-speaker sound pieces composed by 4 artists: Bhob Rainey, Andrea Pensado, Bill Nace, Jake Meginsky)

- SAT DEC 2, HUT @ SCDT/Studio4 Northampton (Bhob Rainey solo reeds, Sarah Gerard, words and Peter Schmitz, movement)

- SUN DEC 3, The First Show @ LOOKY HERE ( a new art space in Greenfield) Frank Hurricane, Viewer, Lauri McNamara, Tiny Tomatoverse (Joshua Burkett/Arkm Foam DUO)

- WED DEC 6, I will be playing percussion in this surprise trio with Andy Allen (sax) and Wendy Eisenberg (guitar) @ ColdSpringHollow, Belchertown. w/ Regerts and Id M ThfftABLE

- WED DEC 6, Open Eye Screening Series #1 @ Flywheel, Easthampton. Psyched for this fresh thoughtful film programming from GoodNightSleep alumn Sarah Lanzilotta!
