2.) While registering I want to add a profile picture, which gets stored in an S3 bucket. The best would be, that the profilePicture field would then be the link to the item in the s3-bucket (or something else, if there is a better way)
But I think I surely do something wrong. I dont know how I really can send a picture (e.g. as base64 or something else) to cognito (e.g. with aws cognito-idp sign-up) to store it in the bucket inside of the lambda.
In the Amazon S3 console, create an Amazon S3 bucket where you can store albums and photos. For more information about using the console to create an S3 bucket, see Creating a Bucket in the Amazon Simple Storage Service User Guide.
To list all of the existing albums in the bucket, the application's listAlbums function calls the listObjects method of the AWS.S3 service object. The function uses the CommonPrefixes property so that the call returns only objects that are used as albums (that is, the folders).
To display the contents of an album in the Amazon S3 bucket, the application's viewAlbum function takes an album name and creates the Amazon S3 key for that album. The function then calls the listObjects method of the AWS.S3 service object to obtain a list of all the objects (the photos) in the album.
Have you ever sat down and made a bucket list of things you wanted to photograph some day? It is a wonderful exercise that I encourage you all to do. Plus, this would be a great go-to list if you are in a slump to get your juices flowing. I started up a list last night and even had the help of a few of my friends and my mom. I left some extra spaces so I could continue to add to it.
Great idea Courtney! I have a running bucket list, but now that you mention it I could add several of those items to my list and I have marked several of those items off (ie. full rainbow, sailboat in sunset). However, I am still wanting to capture more Long Exposure and Panning shots that I really like. I know this is more of a type of photography, but part of my bucket list nonetheless.
When trying to import config into a blank site which includes a "Provider Bucket" and a "Media type" using this bucket, it fails with this error (my media type is called Web Video and my Provider Bucket is also called Web Video):
Last of my Barcelona entries for this Spain bucket list, is Bunkers del Carmel. After the more touristy and well-known Gaudì artworks, I wanted to include something a bit less known, but equally stunning.
