Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) HRMS/Payroll Techno-Functional Consultant to support, enhance, and optimize Oracle EBS Human Resources and Payroll applications. This role requires a strong blend of functional business knowledge and technical development expertise to support production operations, system enhancements, integrations, testing, reporting, and payroll-related initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle EBS HRMS and Payroll modules, strong SQL/PLSQL development skills, and the ability to develop test scripts, perform system testing, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing business operations.
Primary Responsibilities
Oracle EBS HRMS & Payroll Support
- Provide day-to-day production support for Oracle EBS HRMS and Payroll modules.
- Analyze and troubleshoot application issues related to Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, and Self-Service HR.
- Support payroll processing activities, payroll validations, balancing, and reconciliation efforts.
- Investigate and resolve interface, concurrent program, and data issues.
Techno-Functional Analysis
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
- Prepare functional specifications and technical design documents for enhancements and customizations.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend Oracle EBS best practices.
- Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to support business initiatives.
Technical Development
- Develop and maintain:
- SQL queries
- PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions
- Oracle Reports
- BI Publisher Reports
- Fast Formulas
- Interfaces
- APIs
- Data conversions
- Custom concurrent programs
- Support inbound and outbound integrations between Oracle EBS and third-party systems.
- Utilize Oracle APIs and Open Interfaces for HR and Payroll data processing.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop comprehensive:
- Test scripts
- Test scenarios
- Test cases
- Regression test plans
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documentation
- Execute functional and technical testing for enhancements, patches, upgrades, and production fixes.
- Coordinate defect management and validation activities through project completion.
Support payroll parallel testing and payroll cycle validation.
