Go ahead and drill the pocket holes! Tip: It helps with drilling if your drill settings are set to drill and a higher power setting (#2 gear on my drill). Also, drill all the way down until the depth collar on the drill bit hits the top of the drill guide.
Thanks for so thoughtfully making this guide to the kreg jig, you've helped me identify and correct two problems I've been having on my picture frame starter project. I sure appreciate your helpful post!
Kreg is survived by his parents Barbara and Andrew in Dearborn, MI; wife Elizabeth in Barrington, RI; son Kyle in Arlington, MA; daughter Gabriella Breckenridge, CO; brother Kevin in Fockelberg, Germany and sister Krysten in Birmingham, MI.
Kreg was born on April 29, 1965 in Lansing, Michigan to Barbara and Andrew Palko. He graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1988 with a degree in Management. He married Elizabeth, artist and graduate of the College of Charleston, in 1992. He was a distinguished pilot, serving in the US Air Force during Desert Storm and for private enterprise before settling in Rhode Island as a healthcare administrator. Over years, the couple had two wonderful children and Kreg set about teaching them to ski, surf, and everything else that he knew. His children remember him as a strong father who encouraged them to work hard, pursue their goals, and love the outdoors.
Kreg selflessly decided to dedicate his body to science in order to further the research of ALS. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in memory of Kreg to either the Rhode Island ALS Association (www.alsari.org) or the ALS Therapy Development Institute (www.als.net/donate). Condolences can be posted to www.kregpalkoALS.com/leave-a-note. The family would like to thank every single caregiver, hospice worker, doctor, nurse, volunteer, friend, neighbor, and family member, who helped Kreg for their endless dedication, support, and love. A celebration of his life will held on October 21, 2017 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. in the Ballroom of the Biltmore Hotel, Providence. Please visit Kreg's website kreg...@als.com for future insights and details about his story.
