I can't get past "activating" Paramount+ for the Netflix/Paramount promo. I've successfully created an account and logged into Paramount+, but under manage play+ in verizon, it still won't show Paramount as activated, and Netflix still says "pending Paramount+ activation."
Ok so using a different browser I was able to subscribe. Now like everyone else I was able to link Paramount+ but not Netflix. I get the same toggle that says activation pending, click that and then I get "We are processing your subscription. Please refresh or check back again to activate."
After a LOOOONG time on live chat I was told: The team is working on fixing it and you will be able to activate the subscription through the toggle switch after 72 hours. We are also reporting the issue to the concerned Verizon team through an AYS ticket.
However, I want to use my current Netflix account, which the Verizon site says I should be able to do. I've been billed for another month of service - something I was hoping to avoid by signing up for this service.
Having the same issue. I paid for the year of Paramount+, but get the 'Activation pending' message in the dashboard for Netflix. It's been like that all afternoon. Talked to chat support and the only thing they did was read the 'Activation pending' message to me. That doesn't address the issue that I can't activate the year on my Netflix account
I have contacted Verizon on the chat option 4 times now. They try to have me contact paramount, Click the link a bunch of times. Nothing works. Paramount is active and shows managed by Verizon. Verizon has no idea what to do apparently.
Has anyone who got a reply from Customer Service to contact them directly about the Netflix/Paramount activation problem actually contacted them and gotten this resolved? It's been 10 days for me, several phone calls of too long a duration and I'm nowhere with this.
Same issue here. The toggle does not work. Tried on several browsers and other devices. Verizon chats are utterly useless. Its like they don't even reed the messages before replying. Been getting replies like "have you turned it off and back on again".
Same problem, and was actually told on fb messenger due to known problem they were discontinuing promo, but I see that was not true, as still appears if not logged in. I have paramount plus activated, like others, but toggle does not work for Netflix activation. When will this be fixed?
I'm having the exact same issue as everyone else and keep getting the exact same frustratingly generic responses from verizon reps, as you can see in this chat thread. I had a multi hours long chat conversation as well as a phone call with a rep that ended in no help whatsoever. I really hope this issue is fixed soon. It's crazy that this many people are having problems and Verizon seems to be doing nothing about it.
I had this same problem. I contacted a chat rep and they were not able to fix the problem, however they did open a support case and gave me a ticket number. After waiting a few days (they said it could be 7-10 days) my Paramount Plus subscription was set to active and then I was able to toggle Netflix to active and setup my account.
It's now been 2 weeks has anyone been able to get the slider to move so we can activate the paramount + and netflix? Countless hours with support agents who just submit tickets and nothing ever seems to come of them.
Hi, I'm in the exact same situation. Went live with EE Broadband and TV 12th April, but still can't activate Netflix. Complaint raised and multiple calls to Customer Service, but I still don't have Netflix. Moved (Netflix inclusive) TV from Sky to EE Full Works TV and Broadband from BT to EE Full Fibre Gigabit Broadband.
Everything's great, except still no Netflix!! And I don't see why I should, or would, move onto a separately paid one. They keep telling me it's because my order hasn't 'closed properly' and that it seems to be something to do with the stopping of my Digital Voice service that I had with BT, which I never even used.
If your order includes a TV Box Pro or TV Box Mini then use the app on it to sign up for Netflix - even if you already have a Netflix account, use the Sign up option in the Netflix app and use the same email address.
Doing it on the box will cause the Netflix subscription to be added to your EE account, which will then be zeroed from your bill if it forms part of your TV package. It'll specifically state during the sign up journey that it'll be added to your EE bill - if it's asking for you to enter payment details then abort, and email me at tv....@ee.co.uk with your account details and I'll check why.
If you only took the Apple TV option then the only way to activate is by logging into ee.co.uk and clicking the button shown there, or using the link in the activation email (if you have one). If this doesn't work (or you can't see the option to activate) then email me at tv....@ee.co.uk with your account details and I'll check why.
I can see you're on a sport subscription @Twiggy2024 so Netflix wasn't included anyway. It shouldn't make any difference whether you added Netflix to your account first, or just used the sign up link in the app on any of your TV Boxes - it'd add to your EE bill either way. There's no specific benefit to ordering through EE though, so no harm in just signing up online instead.

On my account/entertainment services page it does give me the option to activate netflx. I dont know where to check but im paying 97 a month and my friend in work has same package but actually pays less and he gets it.
Not worth asking in here. I was asked to DM them. Then give them all my details. Then they inform me they can't help me because they think Belfast is in the republic of Ireland. I even gave them my account no and postcode. Now they are just ignoring them. I'm going to call them.
I was wondering if there is a solution to run Netflix on a Fairphone 4 device running CalyxOS. Im very new on CalyxOS (and very happy with it) and its not a big deal not being able to run it on Calyx. But if someone knows a solution I would appreciate it much. Otherwise maybe someone is willing to explain why its not possible.
Which issues are you experiencing? How did you try to access Netflix? On Chromium, an ad for using the app is displayed when I am trying to start a stream. I tested the Netflix app (Aurora store) on CalyxOS and streams are playing fine there. Playing downloads is working fine as well.
Edit 2: similar results for Desktop mode and DRM/protected content enabled on other Chromium distributions (tested Opera and MS Edge) and on Firefox and Firefox Focus, each with different error codes.
Thank you very much for your reply. Well, if I try to open the app from aurora store, it loads the netflix logo and thats it. After a while Ill get an error message. I tried different browsers as well, but with the same result as you: error messages.
May I ask you what settings youre using? I have microg activated, device profile automatic and google safety net deactivated. I tried multiple settings (I guess every variation) but nothing helps. I would love to have the app working, so that I can download movies.
One other remark: I run the app in the work profile to isolate it a bit more from personal data (and freeze it using shelter if need be, not trusting this kind of software), but no idea whether that has any impact.

I've recently recontracted with BT, start date 17.01.22. I've taken standard Netflix for 4 per month as part of my bundle. I can't activate it from the email. It just say's wait 24 hours and has done since Monday! It's not showing on my BT "products", so I can't activate it that way but have been assured I have ordered it. I have tried with Chrome and Edge. Someone please help before I lose my marbles.
Yes. The same message. In desperation I've cancelled my own Netflix and added this to BT as an add on. I've spent quite a few hours on to BT recently so don't want to call them. I'm just going to raise a complaint. Frustrated is not the word !
Hi, I only have one BT ID and that didn't work. I didn't complain but I've just had an online chat with someone who has reset it and I should be able to activate it within the next 4-24 hours. They also credited my account for the inconvenience. Here's hoping
Unfortunately not. Two more online chats on Sunday. I can't understand how no-one has been able to fix this! I've had to raise a complaint as I can't see how else it will be resolved. I'm running out of time to cancel my contract and go elsewhere. I've been a loyal BT customer for many years and feel very letdown by this. Anyway, no word on my complaint yet, but I'm still hopeful.
