*FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE*

*LA ROUSSE CELEBRATES SEATTLE ARTIST WITH OPENING PARTY*

/Art Opening at Belltown boutique features Pham Quoc Hung/

*July 26, 2006 (SEATTLE, WA)* - - La Rousse, Belltown’s boutique for the
style-conscious woman, is hosting an art opening on Thursday, August 10,
6 - 9 p.m. at 430 Virginia Street. Pham Quoc Hung, a Seattle artist,
joins a distinguished group of Pacific Northwest artists who have
exhibited their work at La Rousse since its opening 10 months ago.

The inspiration behind Hung’s art essentially comes once he starts
working. “Different ideas,” said Hung, “come to me very suddenly. I try
to paint as quickly as I can to capture the emotions in my heart and
satisfy the happiness within my heart. Sometimes I feel that I have
almost created what I dreamed, but in reality I’m only able to capture a
small part of the beauty of the universe.”

Hung’s show at La Rousse consists of 10 oil on canvas paintings – fiery
landscapes as well as vibrant blue cubist-inspired townscapes. All art
is available for purchase including a selection of wallet-friendly wood
block prints.

“The addition of local art helps create an artistic and community vibe,”
says owner, Amanda Rosenthal. “La Rousse has the feel of a New York
showroom with modern white walls and concrete floors, but is a place
where people can interact and discuss what’s hot in fashion, art, music
and lifestyle.”

La Rousse will celebrate the art of Pham Quoc Hung on Thursday, August
10, from 6 to 9 p.m. During the artist reception, guests can enjoy wine
and hors d’oeuvres as well as a 10% discount off any purchase (excluding
art).
