I am trying to download Minecraft at minecraft.net. It says pleasedownload Java (Please use Oracles JVM). What does that mean?If I have that installed and I have minecraft.jar file installed, whatdo I do then?
The one you saw was one of them. If you look closely, you will see that the listing is not for the Quest platform, but rather the Gear VR, which was officially supported for a while. This version has been discontinued for a while, but since it was designed to run on a phone (GearVR was a kind of Google Cardboard clone made by Samsung in collaboration with Oculus), the APK is still out there. If you search for "minecraft gear vr apk" you might be able to find it. However, you will not be able to use the Oculus Touch controllers (the ones that came with the headset). Rather, you will have to use an XBOX controller instead. Don't ask me why this is, it's just that way.
I cannot find it, and I suspect that was the problem of the original poster as well. When I search "minecraft" at the oculus store there are no relevant results. (Oculus Quest 1 in my case)

Press enter and navigate to the .minecraft folder. Locate the assets/objects folder. In here, create a folder with the same two letters or numbers that your URL says. If it already exists, navigate to it.

Type in that box "/Library" and click enter. Locate the Application Support folder, and enter it. The .minecraft folder will be found in here, open it. Locate the assets/objects folder. In here, create a folder with the same two letters or numbers that your URL says. If it already exists, navigate to it.
minecraftWorlds contains each world that has been generated within the current build of Minecraft. Each folder also contains resource and behavior pack folders for any packs that may be in use within the world.
3. Rename the server.jar file so it matches the name of the Minecraft edition downloaded. At the time of writing, the latest Minecraft server release is 1.16.4. Therefore, we used the following command to rename the server.jar file into minecraft_server.1.16.4.jar:
Any mods that you want to find must be dropped inside this folder in order for your game to access it. If you installed Minecraft in its default location then the directory path will be something like C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mods.
