Hello PGXN fans,

Regrettably, I’ve not been able to recover admin control over this Google Group. I can’t change any settings, let alone prevent span posts. It saddens me a bit, but the truth is that there have been no more than a half dozen messages in the last three years.

So I’m declaring an end to the pgxn-users Google Group. I will be unsubscribing, and suggest you do the same. The simplest way is to send an email to pgxn-users+...@googlegroups.com <mailto:pgxn-users+...@googlegroups.com> from the address where you received this email.

I plan to continue hacking on PGXN into the future; it will continue! If you need to ask questions or make suggestions, I recommend using the GitHub Discussions:

https://github.com/orgs/pgxn/discussions

Support on StackOverflow isn’t bad, either, although no one has tagged a post with `pgxn` (yet).

Thanks for all your support over the years!

Best,

David

So, funny story. I tried to unsubscribe and it wouldn’t let me, saying my personal address is the sole owner of the group. In trying to recover admin a few weeks ago, I created a new Google account with that address, and today it has admin access!

So, the list need not be dead. I’ve turned on moderation for non-members and new members, so there should be no more spam (unless one of you fine people lose control of your addresses to a spammer).

Anyway, Let’s call the list un-dead for now and see what happens.

Thanks for your patience,

David

Excellent!

I guess it's a lich until and unless it shows signs of dietary habits
that might indicate otherwise.

Best,
David.
