Obituary: Colin Carefoot

It is with deep regret that the Association has to announce the passing of Colin Carefoot, at the age of 80, on Monday 4th November 2013.  Colin, a PGS pupil from 1944 to 1949, was a well-known and active Member of the Association, and regularly attended Annual Dinners.  A full obituary will be posted on the Website in due course.

 

The Funeral Service and interment will take place at the Longridge Parish Church of St Lawrence on Tuesday 12th November 2013 at 11.30am, and it is expected that several Old Boys will attend.  Donations can be made to the North West Air Ambulance or the Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team.  The thoughts and best wishes of the Association go out to his family, friends and colleagues at this very sad time.
