John Fletcher

[DAVID BILLINGTON]

 

Good Morning Gentlemen,

 

I received an email from John Fletcher (PGS 1944-50??), asking if I was any relation to George Goring (my older brother), with whom he was best mates, walking to school together every day and doing their homework together.

 

John has spent many years abroad, now resident in the Philipines, and has recently begun reminiscing about his school days at PGS and the friends that he made there.

 

He is hoping to get over to the UK later in the year and would love to meet up with as many as possible.  Meanwhile it would be great if anyone who knows him would get in touch by email at tall...@hotmail.co.uk or by contacting me.

 

The names that he remembers are:-   Armistead, Beaumont, Bland, Braithwaite, Butler, Duckworth, Fazackerley, Flintoff, Gornall, Halsall, Hargreaves, Helm, Hodgkinson, Lewis, Nelmes, Ormerod, Proctor, Steele, Whitaker( Dick), Woods, Wrathall, and Yates.
