I just downloaded PGnJ 1.1 onto my Intel iMac running OS X 10.5.8. On
startup it shows a window and then crashes. The entry in the console
log is the following:

08/08/2009 14:44:52 com.apple.WindowServer[77] aped[77]: Attach
failed: 4 (BSD: system 0x0/0x0, err 4), for JavaApplicationS[791]
08/08/2009 14:44:54 com.apple.launchd[125] ([0x0-0x4c04c].PGnJ[791])
Exited with exit code: 255

My Java details:

java version "1.5.0_19"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_19-
b02-304)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_19-137, mixed mode, sharing)

Steve,

With OS X Java Update 4 there is a problem with 64 bit Java. What has
been working for others is:

* Navigate to /Applications/
* Right click on PGnJ
* Select "Get Info"
* Ensure that "Run in 32 bit mode" is checked

Please let me know if this does the trick for you.

No problem. Sorry it's kind of a hacky fix. I hope to find something a
bit more elegant in a future release.
