Quick Updates and Whentomeet

Hey everyone,

Good work on everything so far! We did a great job at last night's event, and the semester is almost over! Here are just a few quick updates from our end:

• Ares event is some time next week, we'll have a quick meeting some time on Sunday night to go over the logistics for that. Nick gave most of the committee member an update on this yesterday, but the basic idea is that we are helping Ares Management publicize their event. This should be a good opportunity to secure a future client, so we are pretty excited for this event.
• Yi pulled through with Barclays equity research and I am in contact with a few members of their Penn recruiting team to try and secure an event on November 20th. I think they are looking to target ~50 students. We're still trying to finalize the details, and a lot of emails have been exchanged, so we don't know if we can secure them as a client for sure yet, but I'll keep you guys updated. If we can get Barclays it'll open up the door to a lot of these bigger banks.
• Please fill out this whentomeet as soon as possible. We need to coordinate a time for the five of us to meet (Jo, Julian, Junyu, Nick, John) so we can discuss future direction of the committee, and a second slot to have a dinner. Potential topics of discussion/some things to think about for the extended meeting:

• What is the right committee size? Do we want to expand the committee, or keep it at 5 people?
• How do we want to restructure the committee so that people are clear of their own responsibilities?
• How do we want to go about recruiting members for our committee next semester?
• What are some interesting things we can do with the money we set aside in the future?
