We are very pleased to announce our fourteenth two-week ISTE workshop (10
working days) on "Engineering Mechanics" from 25th
November – 05th December, 2013. It is conducted under the National
Mission on Education through ICT, MHRD, Govt. of India.
This workshop will be conducted through the DISTANCE EDUCATION mode. The
workshop will be transmitted live through internet (A-View software) to various
coordinating remote centers across the country. Please note that all the
activities of this workshop will be done exclusively at the coordinating remote
centers which are over 220 across the country.
This workshop is aimed at enhancing the teaching skills of faculty in core
Engineering. The workshop will benefit faculty teaching Engineering Mechanics
or Solid Mechanics or Structural Mechanics at the UG level. Faculty from
Mechanical, Civil, Applied Mechanics or Aerospace engineering departments will
be benefited from this workshop. This workshop is only for Faculty*.
*Please note: Students and research scholars are not eligible for
participation.*

Those wishing to attend this workshop should enroll online at the above
website.
While enrolling, it is mandatory to upload a scanned copy of permission letter.
The permission letter must be signed and approved from the principal/HOD of
their institute permitting participant to attend the Two-Week ISTE Workshop.
Enrollment will be strictly online and no other applications will be
entertained.
We are enclosing the brochure of the workshop. While registering, you may
select your choice of remote center (where you wish to attend the workshop)
near to your institute from our assigned remote centers..
Last date for enrollment is 12th November, 2013.
A list of selected participants will be put up on the website on 15th November, 2013. The selected participants will also be
informed by email.
