Pgina working, but not for network shares

Environment: pgina 3.1.8.0 on Win7/32 and 64 bit with Samba and OpenLDAP
Configuration:
Authentication: LDAP before LocalMachine
Gateway: LDAP before LocalMachine
Pgina works well for logging in and setting Admin rights (=Gateway works), but when I try to access network shares, pgina claims to be "disconnected". When I now lock my computer, pgina clearly says it's connected, and authentication works well.
What might be the reason pgina is disconnected when I access network shares?
