Hey all! Peduto is seated & the police are at his mayoral whim. The spring could be best to roll out a visible outdoor campaign in multiple neighborhoods, giving us time to have those "working in solidarity" meetings, do whatever necessary research, & develop a process for recording/archiving what folks tell us about their experiences.

The 4th River Free Skool Teach-in on Pgh4Trayvon had 15 attendees & over half gave me contact info in interest of supporting the work. Who do I pass this along to?

Is anyone trynna meet in the next 4 weeks? Sat daylight; Mon, Tues, & Wed evening works consistently for me.

Carl Redwood of the Hill District Consensus Group, among other things, wrote the below included in The Black Activist, a publication of the Black Left United Network. I feel a way about the ending. Anyone want to get together & draft a response?

Hey auto no e! Et al.

Well first, i'm awake! Its morning. Im overwhelmed in general and having mental health moments;) however im surrounded by " relax" tinctures and excited to move thru this next part of my life.

I was very upset by the murder reniesha mcbride and was fantasizing about p4t getting together to do something around that.

There is also the summit against racism coming up in january. I was wondering if p4t wanted to do a strategy session there - that idea we had awhile back of bringing together to strategize. The idea was also mentioned at a summit meeting of inviting peduto and city council to do a workshop where they told us how they were gonna address racism in the city. Sheet. Wasnt done and my tiny computer sent...anyway u can find workshop proposal form online. Deadline is dec. 20th. If anyone wants to help with those 2 summit suggestions id be down. Or help plan summit -contact me.
