Today I met with CMU's Registrar's Office. I have described in detail
the problems we had with Dance and Consort.
Unfortunately at this point, there are no suitable rooms in Wean or
Porter for Dance to start at 8:00. We *CAN* have Wean 5403 at 8:30,
but nothing is available before then.
I am therefore working with the University Center (which doesn't let
the Registrar's Office handle their room reservations...I wonder why?)
to see if we can have some UC Rooms for some of the dance
practices. For some nights, including next Thursday (the 13th, there
is no UC room available, and we're stuck with dance starting at
8:30. But for most other nights, maybe we can get something better.
Since Dance is happening in Wean Hall, I moved Consort over to Wean
6423, which is too small for dancing.
TO SUMMARIZE: Dance Next Week Starts At 8:30pm, not 8pm. In Wean 5403.

We have the UC Connan Room available for dance *SOME* of the time this
semester! For those weeks where Dance is in Connan, Consort will also
be in the UC (usually in the Caffee conference room.)
In order to be consistent, Lord Cadell has declared that dance shall
commence at 8:30, not 8, whether it happens in Wean or the UC.
So Dance Next Week Starts At 8:30pm, not 8pm. In the Connan Room!
