Looking for ANY information possible

The accident occured in the 2700 block of brownsville road at approx 9:30 in
the evening.
My car was rear ended forcefully by a ford pickup truck, model is unknown,
plate known is incomplete (last digit missing). The police chose 2
variations then stopped running plates to find this individual.
I believe there may have been more than just the witness who came forward,
who now seesm to be avoiding doing the right thing by following through with
being a witness. Calls have gone unanswered.
I ask ANYONE out there who might have seen what happened in this accident to
please come forward and help me catch the person who did this... accident
details follow.....

I was in my red Honda Civic behind 2 vehicles... a white sedan, and the
pickup truck. The sedan's driver and I both pulled around the pickup because
he appeared to be making a left turn onto Sankey Avenue. When the white car
cleared the truck, I was in the midst of pulling around him when he turned
his right turn signal on... I slowed almost to a stop to allow the truck to
pull in front of me, but he then turned his signal off... I pulled around
him to the right beeping my hrn a couple times. Doing this, he must have
assumed I was beeping in anger. I uppled around him, drifted back into the
appropriatre lane, and noticed a dark colored car pulled halfway out of
Marit avenue. I slowed down to allow that person to pull out the rest of the
way, when I heard a revved engine behind me and looked in my mirror.... I
saw nothing but headlights, and then the truck hit me!
I placed my car in Park, opened my door, but the trucks driver was already
out of his vehicle, appraching my car screaming profanity at me. After
several minutes of trying to tell him that I was stopped when he hit me, he
threatened to do a few things to me, got back in his truck, and fled the
scene.

Medics were called cuz my fiance had injuries, but they were not severe.
I ask anyone who reads this to please find it in your heart to come forward
with ANY information you might have about this incident. The truck is
approximately early 90's,, MAYBE late 80's, dark in color (possibly dark
grey or black) and the plate # is CF82PJ<x> (the end digit is not known...
maybe a 1, L, or H... not sure)
