Engineer to join the team. You will help design and implement core components
of the streaming media infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include
full project life cycle involvement from gathering requirements, developing
application specifications and test plans, to implementation, integration,
deployment and maintenance.
To qualify, you will need a BS or higher degree in CS/EE, and 3-5 years
of industry development experience including: Internet Service Provider
and Backbone Provider markets; Multimedia applications and streaming media
protocols; C/C++ or Java; UNIX and NT development tools and utilities;
Networking topics including multicasting, DNS, HTTP, SNMP, RTSP, QOS
issues, Web interfaces; Familiarity with various encoding techniques such
as MPEG. Team software development experience, and strong communication
skills, a must!
