for a Senior Media Software Development Engineer. The chosen candidate
will design, research, and head the implementation of cutting-edge media
caching software. Job Responsibilities include developing deployment techniques,
protocol software in a cross-platform environment, and developing a scalable
caching architecture.
The perfect candidate will have :
* a MS/Ph.D in CS/EE or BS
* 5 years industry experience
* experience in network and system design
* Strong C/C++ development skills including multithreaded programming/
multitasking
* Experience in web server internals, web caching related protocols (ICP,
WCCPv2, CGMP, CRP)
* Knowledge of Internet Protocols - HTTP, TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, RTSP
* Understanding of NT/ Unix development tools/utilities
* Knowledge of streaming media protocols (Real G2 , Microsoft, WMT, Apple
Quicktime)
