Position Description:
The Sales Manager(SM) leads a team of 8 to 12 sales and sales support personnel in the Growth Markets segment. The SM is responsible for attainment of aggregate revenue growth commitments and sales objectives for the team for voice, local, data, IP and coordinating with wireless. The primary responsibility of the incumbent is to select, coach and develop sales subordinates in attaining revenue sales objectives. This is accomplished through implementation of territory/account plans and tactical short and long range sales plans, including coordination of overlay Wireless AEs. Responsibilities include supervising the development and execution of detailed individual sales programs for particular modules (groups of accounts), positioning AT&T strategic products and services in the market place, protecting the revenue base, directing the work force to its highest revenue growth opportunities, maintaining effective support team utilization, and sales force development.
