Trip report from the Farmer's Market held in the Pittsburgh Zoo parking
lot on Mondays and Thursdays, 4- 8pm.

Fruit:
Lots of good stuff has started coming in. The cantaloupes are delicious.
They actually taste of the fruit unlike the chemical-tasting yuck I
normally get at the supermarkets.

Good peaches, plums and some small apples. We also bought some small
pears, but they were too hard and bland for my taste.

Veggies:
The tomatoes have arrived! No more bland supermarket mush for me.
There's also lots of the usual suspects - zucchini, potatoes, cabbages,
cauliflowr, brocolli, etc.

The guy who sells pork and ham has also started coming. His stuff is
really good.

Flowers:
Nice bouquets for 3 bucks. Incredible, massive sunflowers for 5 bucks
for a bunch of about 5 or 6. My wife bought some smaller ones for 3
bucks.
